This was an interesting read. It really makes you appreciate all the gifts and opportunities that we (humans) have. This is also a good reference to use when telling others about the wonders of God.

It is good to know these things. I beleive that some people (me) believe that grace overrides the laws or principles of God and clearly Gods laws are still in effect but it is Jesus who gets us to heaven not my works. I’m able to see now what law or principle is at the root of my problem, Usally what I put out I get back…

Hello Pastor Steve. How are you today. I really enjoyed your sermon on Sunday as I do on most Sundays that I attend. I am looking forward to the next few weeks that you will be presenting this message. The part that I identify with most is what is my purpose in life. I was truly relieved when you said that my purpose was not just to go to work and make a paycheck. But that is just what my life has been like in the past several years. When God saved me from the strong hold of drug addiction 10yrs ago on November 15, 1999, I was so happy that i was begining the journey of a finding a new way to live. However, after about 5 yrs I began to feel lost in this big place called life. In the past few months I have been wondering what is my purpose in life. I came the conclusion my purpose was to just be the best mother I can be to my 2 young sons and a better mother the 2 oldr ones. In the meantime i have become so unhappy, sad and lonely. I have been reading a book by James McDonald called “Lord help Me Change My Attitude Before It’s to Late. This book along with NA meetings and your teaching of God’s word has kept me from going back into a deep depression. I just want to thank you for being so clear in the message you teach, and i will probably chat with you some other time.
